BETTER ACCESS SCHEME

You may access DCP services on a GP Care Plan under the Federal Government's Better Access Scheme. Under the current Medicare rebate schedule, people who have been deemed by their General Practitioner to require mental health intervention are eligible for 5 sessions of counselling, with an additional 4 available to those deemed to require ongoing care.

Care plans can be negotiated with your General Practitioner, and should be faxed through to us or brought along to your first session. You may then take your invoice along to a Medicare outlet where you will receive a rebate.
